T.E.A.C.H. (Teacher Education And Compensation Helps) Early Childhood® Pennsylvania Scholarship Program
The T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Pennsylvania Scholarship Program offers early learning professionals a debt-free higher education, supporting them while they work to become stronger teachers and earn thriving wages. By building a more educated and fairly compensated workforce, T.E.A.C.H. raises the quality of care and education that Pennsylvania’s youngest children receive—setting them on a path to future learning and success.

Our Commitment to Your Education
Brainy Bunch Educational Center is proud to collaborate with PACCA, encouraging all of our teachers who have not yet obtained an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree to participate in the T.E.A.C.H. program. As an additional incentive, we offer a pay raise of $1.00 per hour (that’s $2,080 per year before factoring in overtime) to all staff who are admitted into the T.E.A.C.H. program, remain qualified, and are actively pursuing their degrees. We are proud to support our teachers as they work towards their degrees through T.E.A.C.H.
Learn & Earn Program
In partnership with First Up and local colleges such as the Community College of Philadelphia, Delaware County Community College, and Arcadia University, our Learn & Earn program provides teaching staff the opportunity to obtain a CDA, an Associate’s, or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education for free. Participants can also receive college credits towards their degree for holding a CDA and for working full-time at our centers. This program is generously funded through T.E.A.C.H. and Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC).

Whether through the Learn & Earn or T.E.A.C.H. programs, our annual professional development day held every October, or specific training sessions conducted at our centers, we are dedicated to your ongoing growth and success.
